Establishment

The Venugopala Swamy Temple located at Iyengar Medical Foundation, Hessaraghatta district of Bangalore Karnataka, India is an example 12th century Hoysala architecture in Karnataka, India. This temple was built in the 20th century AD around the same time as the Venugopala Swamy Temple at Hessaraghatta, Bangalore. The Venugopala Swamy Temple, also referred to as Sriman Narayana Swamy of recent origin

The original temple with an area of around 1.5 acres 100 by 60 yards (91 m × 55 m). The complex was a symmetrical building enclosed by two 'prakaras' and the outer gate (Mahadwara) had verandahs on both sides, flanked by the yagasala and the kitchen.

Inception

The long dream of Srimathi SS Iyengar to nurish “Punyakoti Gomatha” in the name of “Gosala” started in the year of 2016 and over a year with Swamy Lord Venugopalaswamy’s blessing devotee Dr SS Iyengar incepted the temple with “Moolasthana” at Hessaraghatta in the Japan panache.

CONSTRUCTION OF GOPURA (2019)

With the blessings of lord veungopala swami Smt. S S Iyengar offering the pooja to crown a “peeta” gopuram to swami. The process involved the decoration of “Gharba gudi” and “keerita stamba”. The inside decoration was made by finest quality of Teek wood and gopuram with highest quality brass for the swami. The process started from Jan 2019 and completed in Jul 2019.
